THE TOOLS YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN AND OUT OF THE CLASSROOM

WHEN WE STAND TOGETHER, WE HAVE A LOUDER VOICE AND MORE POWERFUL PRESENCE.

WHAT WE DO

As your Faculty Association, we ensure your voice is heard in the classroom, at the colleges, by District leadership, by the Governing Board, as well as the state legislature, local communities, and beyond. We back your profession to garner the respect you deserve.

WHO WE HELP

We partner with and support residential and adjunct faculty, our employee groups, community stakeholders, and everyone who cares about student success and strong leadership with resources needed in and out of the classroom.

HOW WE ASSIST

We foster shared governance, preserve academic freedom, defend faculty rights, uphold the standards and ideals of our profession, and represent faculty in academic and professional matters and policy development through collaborative communication and professional service.

WHY BECOME AN MCCFA MEMBER?

Real answers by MCCFA members.

I feel I should support the FA with my membership since they do so much for the faculty!!

It’s our only hope at protecting our rights. While I am NOT happy with all of our setbacks over the years, I realize that the FA is our ONLY way to have any chance at change.

It is important to support our employee group’s voice particularly in these uncertain times.

Because I believe in protecting our rights and privileges, like academic freedom.

To have a say in my working life and to help protect the Maricopa CC professorate for future students and for society in general.

Having a voice for your career, for the quality of your working conditions, and for your future means getting organized and joining the Association.
