FA Brown Bag Sessions

The Faculty Association (FA) hosted their first brown bag hosted by the FA legal counsel, Barton Mendez Soto, this past Friday. The brown bag was on free speech and the classroom with a focus on political speech:

The FA is hosting 3 more brown bag sessions (12pm to 1pm) this semester:

• Sept. 13 – free speech and the classroom (focus on academic freedom)
• Oct. 4 – what are the rights of students?
• Nov. 15 – what are my rights? What is retaliation, harassment, libel, slander etc.

The sessions are open to ALL Maricopa faculty.
