To Whom It May Concern:
I find it difficult to find the right words to express my sincere appreciation for your generosity. However, I will do my best.
For you to understand how much what you have done for me means to me I feel you must first see the position I was in. I was in a severe economic situation due to having to leave an abusive relationship which ended in divorce. Because of the divorce I had to file for bankruptcy. I found myself in a catch twenty-two situation. I am on a special program through the Kingman Unified School District in which I am to complete a series of courses through Rio Salados on line school. This program, once completed grants me certification for teaching. I have been working full time and “attending” school full time for four years, as well as recently adjusting to being a single parent. If I was unable to acquire the funds needed for the books required for my final courses my window of opportunity to become a licensed and certified teacher for KUSD would have been revoked. Thus, all the years and work I’ve put into achieving my goal of becoming a teacher would have been for naught.
Your unbelievable generosity has turned the bleak into light. Because of your kindness I now see that light at the end of the tunnel. I am on track to reach my goals. You have altered my life in such a positive way.
With the Most Sincerest of Thanks,
Veronica Morris
